back to black...black is back

Hi everyone,

I hope you all are doing fabulous. How did you guys spend your weekend? As for me, weekends go by so quick...skype with my parents early morning, go to the temple, shop all day, go out for a nice dinner, go for a movie, go on a drive...not whole lot of exciting stuff but this is good enough for me to stay be because I get to spend time with him and my family and that's what matters the most for me. He gives me all his time and it feels great.

I had thought of skipping black outfits for a while coz I wear black a lot and I wanted to add some fun colors to my look. But this weekend I thought of going back to my black top, I guess I missed wearing my black outfits...and to go with it I wore a brown boot that I had bought couple weeks ago. Here are some pictures, let me know what you think.

Thank you for reading. I hope you liked it.

Have a great day and Happy Blogging!

going red

Hi everyone,

The wind is a bit chilly outside in the evening but it still doesn't feel like winter and i guess that's a good thing, don't you? It snowed about half an inch around my area last night and everything has almost melted by now. I heard it is the last snow that we're going to see here this year....yayyy...you already know how much I'm fed up with snow.

I'd bought couple shirts in the past weeks and hadn't worn them so I tried on my red shirt for a dinner and  since it was a bit plain, I added my pearl necklace showing only the front part and hiding the rest with the collar. It gave a soft look and I loved it. I wore my red heels to match my shirt and some crystal earrings and bracelet. To make this boring outfit more elegant I used my clutch designed with beautiful lace works and completed with a flower. Since it was a normal casual dinner out I tied my hair back to give a casual look and make it simple. Let me know what you think about this outfit.

i want some more leather....

Hi everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying this "not so cold" winter. The weather has been very kind to us this season...I don't see snow anywhere around me and I'm happy about it. I was tired of sniffing in the cold-chilly-snow stormy-brain freezing-winter in Minnesota for past 4 years. I'm glad it's different this time. Also, I'm relieved that I don't have to be putting on layers after layers of clothes, a thick jacket to cover them and a heavy snow boot.

But now that I can wear a lighter coat or a little jacket to pass my day this weather, I wanted to add a bit of leather to my boring outfit. So I wore this brown wrinkly jacket ( sorry I forgot the name of the store that I got it from....I'll mention it later if i can find my receipt) that I thought was soo cute and I added a brown boot to go with it. I felt that the red plaids gave a good impression to my jacket and also created a casual look so I loved wearing this outfit. I definitely want some more leather to my wardrobe. I hope you enjoy the pictures for now.

gotta have some mirror pics... ;)
I was a lil exhausted shopping all day long so I ended that day with a chilled Blue Moon at a bar. Hmmm....perfect :)

Thank you all for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy your warm winter. Happy Blogging!

too many things to be happy about....and yesss..Welcome 2012!

Hello beautiful people,

First of all, a very very Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful year 2011 and may this new year, 2012, brings tons of love, happiness and success to you and your loved ones. I wish you a healthy, happy and a prosperous new year.

Secondly, my apologies to all my followers. I have been out of touch for so long. I had many things going on from job to family issues, from moving to relationship stuff, and etc etc.

I would say November-January is the month of gaining weight due to the festivities, family gatherings and all the good food that we eat during this time. Infact, I might just be looking for excuses for myself since I gained about 10 pounds in the last month. I came back to Omaha to visit my boyfriend and he noticed that my dresses fit me tighter, my arms looked bigger and my whole body looked healthier (healthier sounds better :P). So this time I had to change outfits more than usual to get ready, thus making him wait longer time...lol.

My boyfriend and I agree that December and January is our months and we have to be together at these times no matter what. So I came to visit him early December so we could celebrate Christmas, his Birthday (12/28), New Year, our Anniversary (01/02), my Birthday (01/10) and what not...This is a time of celebration and a good reason for us to see each other. My birthday is the next and I'm already excited for that. We really don't need any occasion for a celebration or for having fun but these are some moments that have always been extra special to us that we can't miss to be together celebrating.

My boyfriend bought me some beautiful flowers and an Anne Klein coat for the anniversary and I absolutely love them. I would like to share some pictures with you all and I hope you like it too.
I adore this wine glass. My boyfriend bought a set simply coz it reminded him of Vampire Diaries that I'm crazy about and he knew I'd love it.
